American small screen project, Grey's Anatomy, is a medical dram show, which was premiered on ABC in 2005. The series has total nine numbers of seasons, whose storyline is based on the lives of interns and residents of a hospital named Seattle Grace. Meredith Grey is the centre character of the show. She can be seen dealing with her personal life with husband Derek and friend best friend Cristina. Both her closed ones are doctors in the same hospital. There are several other characters, which can be seen playing various roles and Alex, Miranda Bailey, Richard, Callie, Mark, Izzie, Owen, Lexie, George are some of them.
The different nine seasons of the show involved various seasonal doctors. The instalments commence with the voice over narration from Meredith. Every seasons end up with a tragic incident. Most of the interludes and their storylines revolve around personal and professional lives of the doctors. The characters who were introduced in the very first season are Meredith, O'Malley, Yang, Steven and Karev. All of them are surgical interns. Bailey is the chief resident of the hospital and mentors other doctors.
The very first season of the show was premiered on 27 March, 2005, where the episode named 'A Hard Day's Night' was premiered. The storyline starts with Meredith, who appears at Seattle Grace Hospital to enrol as surgical residence. There, she has to spend next seven years. She comes to meet a man, Derek, with whom she had a one night stand and now she gets that the man is her boss.
The first season ends with Meredith, who gets to know a shocking secret about Derek. In the second season, all the characters resume their works at the hospital along with some new interns. In the finale episode of the third season, Bailey can be seen disappointed because Callie has become the Chief resident. Richard gives Derek the responsibility of chief surgeon but Derek refuses the offer.
The ninth season of the show was premiered on 27 September, 2007 which has total twenty four episodes and was concluded on 10 May, 2013. In the very first episode of the show, Derek and Callie can be seen sad and heartbroken. Meredith is the senior doctor and behaving very rude with her students. The final episode witnesses a storm, which may damage several things. When a bus explodes, April thinks that Jackson was in it and he is dead, but in a meantime, he was seen walking with a little girl. Derek and Meredith named their son 'Bailey' on the name of their beloved friend.
