Work From Home, With the Free Time to Do What You Love

Hi, My name is Corwin Crandell and I live here in Central Florida, Saint Cloud to be exact. I wanted to take some time to introduce myself so you can get to know me a little. I live here in Central Florida with my wife and two kids Sam and Shaun. My wife Jennifer has lived in the Central Florida area most of her life, however I am originally from the Great Northwest, the Seattle area.
So if we can take a minute, I would like to share something with you...
I started fishing, hunting and camping when I was a child like most people did up north. Summers back home with my uncle's was the most exciting for me. The life outdoors has always intrigued and captured me. I remember a time when my grandpa Bob, my uncle and I went grouse hunting. We were up in the mountains early in the morning you could smell the dew in the air and see the fog drowning the mountain tops it was quiet and peaceful. We were walking down the gravel path and on each side of me were these HUGE evergreen trees, I remember this like it was yesterday I felt so small, I was only about 10 years old.
"What happened!! I don't see anything left of the grouse, just feathers..."
All of a sudden about 100 yards in the distance we saw this commotion in the brush below the trees, it was mass hysteria! My uncle turned around to check and make sure my grandpa and I were behind him so that he could get a clear shot. Now mind you my uncle Chris is a big guy, he has long hair and a beard, talk about a mountain man, intimidating was an understatement. Chris held up his 12 gauge shotgun loaded with bird shot, to his face - mind you by that time we were much closer to the commotion, he squeezed the trigger and BOOM! It was the loudest noise that I had ever heard. I jumped out of my skin - I was at that moment in time "stuck on stupid". My grandpa and Chris ran over to the brush where he felt the grouse was, and he said to my grandpa, "What happened!! I don't see anything left of the grouse, just feathers, where is it at?"
We all began to laugh, it was a relief for me, with a smile on my face and confusion in my mind we continued on looking for more grouse. I never did find out what happened to that bird.
So over the years I grew up, spent many summers fishing and swimming in the lake. Went camping almost every year and I began to understand what it meant to be outside with nature, God's great earth.
Lets fast forward, I was 25 when I was diagnosed with a disease that caused cancer. Colon cancer to be exact. This was a difficult time for me. My wife and I were married September 7th 2001, 4 days before that fateful day September 11th 2001. But for us the 7th was the best day in the world for us.
On December 4th 2001 I went into surgery, to have my entire colon removed, a rather complicate procedure. About 15 hours later I was out of surgery and coded. The hospital chaplain approached my wife and uncle and told them to make funeral arrangements and call the family, I was not going to make it...
...Needless to say God had other plans for me and after 11 very long years, in and out of the hospital 3 weeks out of every month I made it. I could actually get out of bed, I could walk, hold down my food and hold my eldest child, my daughter Sam.
So hear I am, finally able to walk "What do I do?" So many questions in my head. How do I hold a conversation again, how do I stand in a crowd of people without freaking out and having to leave. What now...
...Do what you do, do what you like to do, lets fish.
Well I had to do some healing, and the best way I know how to do that was to fish. It was a time for me to think, to gather my thoughts. Spend some quality time with the Lord and figure some things out...
...I started getting pretty good at it, I was still only using a regular spinning reel and a 2 piece pole, not even the best just something I purchased at the local Walmart.
As time has passed I started to realize I needed to do something to make some money. I knew I would be unable to work at a brick and mortar kind of business, I had to many restrictions and I did not want to put that on an employer.
I spent many days and nights trying to figure out what I was going to do to bring in an income for me and my family. In the past I have been involved in 2 other work from home opportunity's, the first one was a great company with a life saving product. The second company ended up being a fraud and I left quickly.
So, needless to say I was very skeptical of online business' or MLM companies - I refused to go through what I went through with the last 2 companies. After thinking for a while it came to me! I decided to start a business doing something I enjoyed doing. Fishing! I will start a blog and share with others my ideas that I have learned over the years and even some things that I am learning now. My personal goal is to help others that may be in the same position I was in - earn an income.
That is where I am at now, my dream has come true. I am now fishing, and writing about it and at the same time - I get to earn some money doing it. I love it! I will say it does make me happy that I get to go fishing whenever I want, it is easy to just pick up and go to the lake. I enjoy bringing my kids with me. Its a joy watching my 2 year old son and my daughter fish.
So in closing, I encourage you not to feel sorry for yourself. If you don't have a job and your not able to find one please talk to me and I would be happy to help you start your own business writing about your best interest's.
I look forward to the journey ahead, some thoughts I would like to leave you with, that changed my life forever...
