If you ask anyone, that works online, what the best way to start earning income is you will get several different answers because different things work for different people. So, in my opinion, the best way is by creating a signature product that lets you show your expertise about your topic. You can start out with a simple product and then over time make revisions, add more to it, etc so that people will not only be getting more value but you'll also be able to really show yourself as an expert. This will represent you and your business for years to come and lead to many different opportunities over the years.
Starting out with an audio product will be the fastest and easiest way to get started with this business model. Think about what you would like to be known for on the Internet and then create a short outline that highlights the points you would like to make. Record yourself discussing this topic in great detail and sell it as an mp3 download. You may also want to have someone create a graphic and then burn the recording to a CD. These are great to use as a bonus where you give them to people when they purchase another product, join your membership site, etc later on down the road.
You can use the audio recording signature product to build on, use it as a foundation for more products. I recommend starting to create a new product immediately after the previous one is completed and made available for sale. By doing this you will have a product line that continues to grow as your business grows. Positioning yourself and your business in this way is an excellent marketing and branding strategy that will serve you well over time.
