At no other time have people lived in such a mystical and wondrous age than the era we are now in. Across the planet there is an increased dialogue on such diverse topics as alien sightings, sightings of Jesus and various UFO's. Increasingly people are finding themselves feeling lost and in need of anything to make since of the ever confusing world spinning out of control around them. This is possibly why so many different people have seen Jesus in mundane items.
A common inspirational quote people often say is that God often reveals himself in mysterious ways. The calm most people feel at church services, a particular insight or message you may receive while meditating or the beauty of a butterfly's wings as it flies from one flower to another, are examples. For some people though God has decided to not be quite so mysterious.
God appears to people in many contrasting places. A lady in the UK opened a plastic jar of marmite one Sunday, to make her son a sandwich to eat. After she had made it she lifted up the lid and there was something incredible on it. Looking back from the inside of the lid was an image of Christ.
In Missouri a man and wife were watching television late at night. While doing this they were eating a snack of some cheetos and peanuts. Much to the wife's surprise she found a cheeto in the bag bearing the shape of the crucifix, complete down to the likeness of Christ.
Not desiring someone to out do him, a law-clerk in central Maine was eating funyuns one afternoon with his lunch. As he removed one he realized there was a striking semblance of the little baby Jesus on it. Noting his good luck he put a listing for it on Ebay, where it made over 600 dollars.
Around Christmas, a guy from Ohio was in a candy store he had a part-time job in. As he went past the various displays of hard candy he detected something quite strange. There on display in a piece of hard tack, was an image of the baby Jesus and the virgin Mary.
Even in non Christian places there are reported sightings. A plumber from Brittan, went to an Indian restaurant for a lunch buffet. After he ate his meal he snacked on some naan bread and beheld the holiest of images on the bread Christ was looking at him.
Food isn't the only item to be seen with these images. A 38 year old lady in Boston was ironing some shirts for her spouse. She was using a common nondescript table iron she bought at her local walmart. After about 20 minutes of ironing, she put it up and got another shirt and saw a stain on the iron's pad which looked like Christ was looking back at her.
